Occasionally things come awkwardly together with pleasing results. Illustrating the E, I found that to be true. Not having a vision for the scene surrounding the E, I just started with a campy Emu peering from the edge of the scene. Remembering being enthralled watching Egrets preening their silvery wings on Lake Pontchartrain on the way to New Orleans at one time, an Egret became part of the view. The ever present "White-elephant-in-the-room," miniature of course, presented itself in the E. In this manner, E developed, one element at a time.
